How to earn 15% cashback in a month
You can earn a maximum of 15% cashback per month (capped at RM85) on petrol purchases, online shopping transactions, and auto bill payments if you spend RM2,500 and above in a month using this card. If you charge your card anywhere between RM1,000 to RM1,499 in a month, you’ll still earn cashback at a rate of 5% on petrol, online shopping and auto bill payments (capped at RM12).
All other retail purchases (apart from petrol, online shopping and auto bill payments) will also fetch you unlimited cashback at the rate of 0.2% per month.

You can get quick access to cash using the card’s Cheque-On-Call facility without any extra documentation. That said, check with the bank regarding the finance rates and take a call to go for the facility only if you will be able to afford the pay-off.
Annual fee waiver
You can enjoy the benefits of your Standard Chartered card free of cost if you charge the card at least RM20,000 per year. If not, the principal cardholder will have to pay an annual fee of RM250 after the first year of usage.
Keep in mind
- Activation cashback is valid only till 30 June 2018.
- Cashback can be earned with every retail transaction except Government MCC and charities MCC.
- Auto bill payments include recurring bill payment via standing instruction for utilities, Telco, and insurance.
- The annual fee of the principal card is RM250, whereas the supplementary card is free for life.
- GSC promotion is valid every day except Wednesdays till 28 February 2019.

- All the following retail transactions are excluded from the cashback categories:
